DAYRON PÉREZ WX - YOUR WEATHER CONNECTION | WELCOME TO MY BRAND NEW WEBSITE!

About Dayron Pérez

I’m Dayron Pérez, a Weather Analyst from Yauco, Puerto Rico (“La Ciudad del Café”). My passion for meteorology began at a young age, driven by a fascination with hurricanes, severe storms, and atmospheric sciences.

Since 2019, I’ve built and managed weather communities dedicated to informing and educating the public, including a Facebook audience of over 20,000 followers and a regional group reaching nearly half a million members across Puerto Rico and the Caribbean. I’ve also contributed to platforms such as Weather News PR and Centro Meteorológico de Puerto Rico y el Caribe.

I am a NOAA Weather-Ready Nation Ambassador, a certified NWS SKYWARN Storm Spotter, and a CoCoRaHS volunteer, where I operate a precipitation station in Yauco that supports National Weather Service data. My work focuses on delivering accurate, timely, and science-based weather information.

In addition to my meteorological work, I serve as a Motor Transport Operator (88M) since 2025 in the U.S. Army National Guard and continue my academic journey while expanding my knowledge in atmospheric sciences.

My goal is simple: communicate the science of weather clearly, responsibly, and with impact—helping communities stay informed and prepared.
